Outreach Visit

The children have returned from half term in very good spirits.

This week the children thoroughly enjoyed the outreach visit from a visitor from St. Albans museum. The children were able to get 'hands on' with lots of primary sources and learnt all about about rationing, evacuation and air raids. The children were all on their best behaviour and were very engaged throughout.

We have started a new non fiction Literacy module about space. The children have been learning all about Neil Armstrong and what qualities you need to become an astronaut.

In maths we have been looking at decimals and how to multiply and divide by 10 and 100.

We have started to practise for our assembly and all the children have been fantastic at learning their lines. We will continue to practise next week for our remembrance assembly on the 13th November.

Have a great weekend!
